Launched September 2022
Tenants of MTVH in Lambeth and The Midlands have received the news that their homes will be receiving energy efficiency upgrades including insulation and solar PV to help reduce energy usage and to assist in tackling rising energy prices.

Eligible tenants will have already received a letter from MTVH confirming their eligibility.
In order to offer these energy efficiency measures to their tenants, MTVH has received funding under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) which will pay for insulation work and the installation of solar panels.
Jules Bickers - Director of Property at MTVH advises "We think these works will make your home warmer and easier to heat and also the solar panels will provide you with a source of free electricity."
MTVH are working with a leading organisation in the retrofit marketplace, Happy Energy Solutions Ltd, to manage this project. Happy Energy have previously managed the Mayor of London's Warmer Homes Programme and other local authority and social housing funded, energy efficiency schemes.
In the next few weeks, Retrofit Assessors from Happy Energy Solutions will be contacting residents to carry out surveys of their homes in advance of the works being installed sometime from November onwards.
These works are completely free to tenants - the only requirement will be an investment of their time.
